Pallas A. Wylie, 95, of Coolidge, died July 14, 2002, in Casa Grande.
Mrs. Wylie was born September 25, 1906 in Cleburne, Texas, to Joe Thomas and Marietta "Etta" (Dillard) Davis.
She lived in Coolidge since 1933 and was a member of the Eastern Star in Florence. She was a waitress during World War II at the Florence Junction Bus Depot and worked from time to time as a seamstress at both cleaners in Coolidge and at Brooks Department Store. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting and needlework.
Survivors include her brother, Robert A. Davis of Tucson; nieces Bette Clay of Arkansas, Judy Branson of Tucson and Sharon Atwater of Oregon; five nephews, James Davis of Globe, Bob Davis of Glendale, Phillip Davis of Yellow Stone Park, Mark Davis of Tucson and Jimmy Davis of Joshua, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B., July 3, 1966.
Memorial contributions may be made to RTA Hospice, 177 W. Cottonwood Lane, Casa Grande, 85222, in lieu of flowers. Visitation was Wednesday at Simes Mortuaries Coolidge Chapel. The funeral was there at 10 a.m. with the Rev. David Spence officiating. Burial will be Valley Memorial Park.
