The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona April 21, 1993 Vivian Ruth Fawkes of Wickenburg died Wednesday, April 7, 1993, at her son's home in Phoenix. She was 70. She was born April 20, 1922, in Dekota, Minnesota, and had lived in Arizona since 1958. She was a housewife and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Wickenburg. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Richard Fawkes, Sr., of Wickenburg; sons, Richard, Jr., of Wickenburg and Gary of Phoenix; daughters Ky Dobson of Dallas, Texas, and Cynthia Bowling of Black Canyon City, Arizona; sisters Helen Aiken of LaCross, Wisconsin; Betty Groff of Zimmerman, Minnesota, and Vera Patterson of Jamesville, Wisconsin; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services have been held with interment at Phoenix Memorial Park. The Rev. Delbert Henderson officiated. Greer-Wilson Funeral Home of Phoenix handled the arrangements.
