GALEENER, Peggy

Galeener, Peggy Jean, 83, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on March 11, 2010. Peggy was born in Georgetown, Illinois, May 16, 1926. In 1962 she and husband Dan moved their family to Arizona. Peggy, widow of Dan, leaves behind: son, Buffalo Rick (Connie) Galeener, daughter, Linda (Tom) Bianco, beloved triplet grandchildren, Nick Bianco, Alex Bianco, and Kate (John) Phillips, and cherished great-granddaughters, Galilee Mae and Glory Bella Phillips. She often traveled, frequently returning home to Illinois. Enjoying crafting, her hands were always busy creating. Hosting parties, baking Christmas goodies, collecting records, and playing bingo were her fun, but she especially reveled in holding Galilee and Glory. Loving music and dancing, she and Dan are now together swinging to 40's music again. Visitation, Tuesday, March 16, 6 to 8 pm. Services Wednesday, March 17, 9:30 am. at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 Hayden Road (at McKellips), Scottsdale. Contributions may be made to Order of the Silver Rose - Honoring the Victims of Agent Orange.
