Ady, Carolyn L., 87, passed away peacefully March 10, 2010, in Sun City West, AZ., her home for the past thirty two years. She was born in Clarkrange, TN., May 13, 1922. A retired school teacher, Carolyn was educated at Berea College in KY., Tennessee Wesleyan, Athens, TN., and Townson State Teachers College, MD.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph W. Ady. She is survived by her son Claude Nelon, wife Penny, of Hurricane, WV. Granddaughter Jacqueline White of Huntington, WV. Grandson Joseph Nelon, wife Kim, of Winfield, WV. Great grandchildren, Amanda, Allison, and Ryan Nelon of Winfield, WV. Sisters JoBlan LaRue of TN., Clella York of IN., Brothers Harold Lockhart of OH, and Arthur Lockhart of MI. Also four step children Wes Ady, Robin Angelo, Barbara Seeger, and Janet Weitzel.
Carolyn was greatly loved and will be sadly missed. She lived a long, fulfilling life both touching, and touched by, the hearts of many. Services: Sunland Memorial, Sun City, AZ. Viewing 10-11am, March 18, 2010, with burial services following.
