CHAVARRIA, Elizabeth Ann (Betty)

The Arizona Republic 3/14/2010 Chavarria, Elizabeth Ann "Betty", 76 of Tempe, AZ, passed away on March 9, 2010. We celebrate our Mom; Elizabeth "Betty" Chavarria's passing to a new life with our Lord Jesus Christ and our Dad Antonio Chavarria. She is survived by her daughter Paula Chavarria Durkit, son-in-law Richard Durkit Jr, her sons, Robert Rivas, Ronald Chavarria, granddaughters, Heather Frisby and Amber Chavarria, her grandson-in-law Nate Frisby and great-grandchildren Ethan Chavarria-Frisby, Aaron, Emily, and Mason Frisby and Brandon Chavarria. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Flinkinger, brother-in-law Flick Flickinger, and nephew Doug Flickinger. She touched many lives with love and compassion. She always had a hug or a shoulder if anyone needed it. We will miss her deeply. Life just won't be quite the same without her, but we know we will see her again. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 5-7:00 PM at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Tempe Mortuary. Interment will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Tempe Mortuary.
