Visitation will be 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton streets in Prescott. A Scriptural Rosary will be at 6 p.m. following the visitation. A celebration of Laurie's life and Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury St., Prescott, with final commendations and farewell at Humboldt Cemetery following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Laurie's name to Alex Romero, c/o Bank of America. She was born March 9, 1957 in the Bronx, New York and is the daughter of Anthony and Patricia (Hilton) Sanchez. Laurie was 53 years old. Laurie was a member and Past President of the Soroptomist Club and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prescott. She loved the Arizona Cardinals, her children and totally worshiped her grandchildren. Laurie was proud of her husband and entire family. Laurie is survived by her loving and caring husband of 23 years; her children, Ally Romero and Eduardo Romero, both of Prescott, and Michael (Julie) McCammond, of Peoria, Arizona; grandchildren, Shalico, Ariel, Marih and Samara; her brother and sister-in-law, Mark (Geana) Sanchez, of San Antonio, Texas; and sisters, Lynne Bridgewater, of Phoenix, Arizona, and Catherine Keedy, of Litchfield Park, Arizona. Contributions may be made in Laurie's Name at any Bank of America in a fund established for contributions.
