Joseph Frank Koshut
The world lost a great man on March 9, 2010. Joseph Frank Koshut, born April 12, 1935, passed peacefully into the presence of his creator, leaving behind a legacy of commitment, wisdom, faith and hard work.
His love of history, antique tools, restoration of wood furniture and nature made him a man of many interests and he shared those passions with endless enthusiasm. His greatest love was the Boy Scouts of America, to which he dedicated a significant part of his life.
He leaves behind a far-reaching community of family and friends who cherished his never-ending wit, his stories of unusual life experiences, his gift of solving any problem, his personal strength in the midst of life's trials, and his distinctive laugh. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
Softly calls the light of day, while our campfire fades away; silently each scout should ask, "Have I done my daily task? Have I kept my honor bright? Can I guiltless sleep tonight? Have I done and have I dared everything to be prepared?"
