PENNELL, Thomas

The Daily Miner, 3/7/2010 Thomas Pennell, born Feb. 10, 1932, in Baltimore, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010. He moved to California in 1952. He met his wife, Darlene, in 1968. They married in 1969 and were married 40 years. He served in the National Guard from 1953 to 1955 and was on active duty in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1955 to 1957. In 1997, he retired from Robertshaw Controls in Long Beach, Calif., after 43 years, then moved to Kingman. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and family and friends. Thomas is survived by his wife, Darlene; two children, Ellen and Tom Jr.; and three grandchildren, Mathew, Madison and Samantha.
