SPITZER, Edith Irene

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 01/23/2004 Edith Irene Spitzer, 76, died Jan. 6, 2004 at Navapache Regional Medical Center in Show Low. Edith has lived in Show Low for the past 13 years. She was active in the youth bowling leagues, loved gardening and painting. In her earlier years she belonged to the golf and bowling leagues. She was a telephone operator, and was in motel management. She is survived by two sisters, Billie Lammus and Ruth Olson in Joplin, Missouri; her three children, Sandra Maki of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Jacalyn Larson of Tower, Minnesota, and Mike Spitzer of Show Low; five grandchildren; and six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in July in Virginia, Minnesota, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, also in Virginia, Minnesota. Fletcher's Mortuary handled arrangements.
