ONGMAN, Don

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 01/23/2004 Don Ongman, 56, died Jan. 19, 2004 in Phoenix. Don was born in Oklahoma but moved to Arizona when he was just a child. He proudly served his country in the Navy. Don had two sons, Devin and Don, Jr. whom he loved very much. He was an accomplished heavy equipment mechanic, working at FATCO for 20 years. Every year Don would go to Mexico to relax and enjoy deep-sea fishing. He was well respected by all who knew him and would give anything he had to those who needed it. He will be greatly missed. Don is survived by two sons, Devin Ongman and Don Ongman, Jr. of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Hicks. A grave side service will be held Saturday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. at the Lakeside Cemetery with a visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Owens Mortuary in Show Low. After the service there will be an Irish Wake at Charlie Clarks.
