RUIZ, Eusebio (Sam)

Eusebio "Sam" L. Ruiz, 82, died Aug. 13, 2003 at his residence in Globe. Born in Globe, he worked as a driller/blaster. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Trinidad Ruiz of Globe; one daughter, Angela Meeks of Claypool; two sisters, Angie Tewkbury of Globe and Rosemary Ruiz of Yorba Linda, Calif.; three brothers, Nick Ruiz of Chandler, and Dave Ruiz and Frank Ruiz of Globe; and two grandchildren. A memorial mass was conducted Aug. 19 at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Interment of cremains was at Pinal Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Lamont Mortuary of Globe. Memorial contributions are suggested to Holy Angels Catholic Church, 143 South Broad Street, Globe, AZ 85501.
