RACHER, Steffen

The Daily Miner 1/28/2010 Steffen Racher, 53, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. He was born Jan. 3, 1957, in Williams, Ariz., to Lloyd and Nona Racher. Steffen was a truck driver and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He will be remembered for his warm heart and never meeting a stranger. Steffen loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Racher, and step-father, James D. McClain. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Racher; three sons, Steffen Racher and wife Stephanie of Kingman, Jacob Racher and wife Sheena of Rogers and Josh Hemenway and wife Tammy of Williams; one daughter, Rochell Daniel and husband Jeff of Rogers; mother, Nona Mae McClain; one brother, Jason McClain and wife Kemah of Fayetteville, Ark.; two step-brothers, Doug McClain and Jimmy McClain; three sisters, Linda Racher-Celidonio and husband John of Rogers, Rosalind Racher-Kirk and husband James of Flagstaff and Donna Kertman and husband Henry of Dana Point, Calif.; one step-sister, Ruby McClain; 11 grandchildren and 16 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Condolences may be offered at www.rollinsfuneral.com.
