MEDIGOVICH, Eva

Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, Phoenix, Arizoan Eva Medigovich, 89, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on March 1, 2010. She is survived by her brother, David G. Medigovich, Sr. and sister, Helen Davidson. She was a loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews, as well as her great nieces and great nephews. Eva was born in Phoenix to Yugoslavian immigrants and was raised on the family farm in Buckeye. At the age of 18 she began her career with Equitable of New York and remained a dedicated employee for 47 years. She was the first female in the United States to be promoted to Agency Service Manager at Equitable. After retirement, she was hired as the second employee of CUE Financial Group and acted as a consultant to the growing firm. She was an active member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, American Slavic Association, the Pilots Club and numerous charitable organizations. Eva touched the lives of all who crossed her path through the years and will be remembered as a selfless and gracious lady. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 4436 E. McKinley St., Phoenix, AZ 85008. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, Phoenix, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary.
