LOCKHART, Calvin Craig


Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, Phoenix, Arizona Calvin Craig Lockhart, 76, native of Arizona passed away January 7, 2010, from complications of Myasthemia Gravis. Calvin was born January 5, 1934 in Phoenix to Neal and Loretta (Bart) Lockhart. He graduated from North H.S. and ASU School of Business. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict serving in the United States Army. He retired from the Arizona State Dept.of Health Economics as Financial Manager in 1995. Cal was the President of the HOA for 31 years, in the community where he and his wife reside. He was preceded in death by both parents, his mother-in-law Catherine Schoolitz and brother-in-law Harry Schoolitz. Calvin is survived by his loving and patient wife of 40 years Jane (Schoolitz) Lockhart, daughters Lily Click, Vannessa Lockhart, grandsons Brooks Click, Justin Boenisch (Melissa), great grandsons Jarrett and Jase, niece Pauline Vandevoorde and family, nephew Matthew Schoolitz and family and sister-in-law Diane Schoolitz. Calvin was loved, respected and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Calvin's strong will and determination along with his good heart made him the person that many people came to depend upon. Visitation Tuesday January 12, 2300 W. Van Buren from 11-1pm, service to follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel. Donations may be given in his honor to Hospice of the Valley or Humane Society.
