SCHULLER, Carol Ann


The Arizona Republic 3/17/2010 Schuller, Carol Ann. Angels came for Carol on Friday, March 12, 2010. She passed peacefully after a long, brave fight with cancer, at the age of 61, with her large family by her side. Born in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, she moved with her family to Phoenix in 1960, but kept Iowa and her many friends and family there close to her heart and in her life. Carol attended MHT Grade School and continued her love for the church by volunteering. Carol graduated from Sunnyslope High School in 1967 and supported the Vikings as one of the most dedicated and enthusiastic fans ever, without missing a single Homecoming game since graduating. She completed her education in nursing in 1969, to fulfill her dream of helping others. She enjoyed her life belonging to Boy Scouts for over 40 years with Troop 296. She also loved coaching softball and was a mom to all. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Helen Schuller, and brother David. She is survived by her three children, Kristi (Ralph) Montoya, her twins Kathi (Steven) Tyrrell and Kevin (Mindy) Schuller. She was a loving Grandmother of 5 grandchildren: Ron and Megan Montoya; Zach, Maddie and Hayden Schuller. Brother Pat (Mikki) Schuller and nieces Ashleigh, Victoria and Elisabeth Schuller. She was a mom, sister and friend to many and her love and friendship was unconditional. Visitation and Rosary at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N 7th St. on Friday, March 19th from 5:00-8:00 pm. Mass at Most Holy Trinity Church, 8620 N. 7th St on Saturday, March 20th at 9:30 am.
