PIPER, Jack Edward

Piper, Jack Edward, 86, died March 13, 2010 in Phoenix, AZ where he resided for the past 48 years. He was born November 21, 1923 in Wichita, Kansas and married Margaret Elmira Langley on February 2, 1958. Jack is survived by his spouse Margaret Elmira Langley Piper. One sister Wilma (Dean) Chippeaux of Wichita, KS. Five children; Don (Rita) Sutterfield of Rogers, Arkansas; Rebecca (Dick) McMahon of Phoenix, AZ; Darrell (Diane) Piper of Tribune, KS; Charles (Ursula) Piper of Phoenix, AZ; and Steven Piper of Surprise, AZ. 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Jack was predeceased by a brother Darrell Dewey Piper. Jack Edward Piper was a proud Veteran of WW II and retired from the Veterans Administration, and attended the Gospel Assembly Church of Phoenix, AZ Visitation will be Thursday, March 18, 2010, 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Services will be Friday, March 19, 2010, 10:00 A.M. at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ. Rev. Mike Wyrick and Rev. Harley Langley (brother-in-law) will officiate the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Assembly Church, 13244 No. 21st Place, Phoenix, AZ 85022. The Piper Family is proudly being served by Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary.
