Morris, Charles Edwin ("Chuck")79, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, ended a long fight against heart disease on March 13, 2010. He was surrounded with the loving support of his family at the time of his passing.
He was born August 7, 1930 in Sioux City, Iowa to Lawrence Ralph and Edna Rosemary Morris. He was married for nearly 56 years to his loving wife and partner Pauline J. Morris. They have three children: Dr. Patricia Feldman of Scottsdale, AZ, and her husband Gene; Gregory S. Morris, M.D., and his wife Margaret of Scottsdale AZ, and Jeffrey Morris and his wife Ally of San Clemente, CA. Nine fortunate children were proud to call him "Grandpa Chuck". Chuck and his family lived for 33 years in Lakewood, Colorado, where for 18 years he was a Manufacturers Sales Representative for RG Barry Corporation. In that role, he spent much of his time travelling the Western United States. Prior to that, Chuck served in a variety of Sales positions with Kleinarts, Nabisco Foods and others. After High School, Chuck Served in the Navy for 4 years before marrying Pauline in 1954. After retiring in 1996, Chuck and Pauline moved to Scottsdale Arizona, which has been their home ever since.
Chuck was an amazingly loving husband, father and grandfather with a warm heart and caring soul who always wanted the best for those around him. Those who knew him were blessed by his presence and sense of humor, and he will be truly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on March 17, 2010 at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale. Memorial contributions can be made in Charles E. Morris' name to the American Heart Association at http://honor.americanheart.org.
