FRIAS, Ronald E.


The Arizona Republic 3/17/2010 Frias, Ronald E. died on March 3, 2010, at the age of 60 went on to Heaven. He was surrounded by his beloved wife, children, family and friends. He is predeceased by his father George and brother Ted Frias, and is survived by his wife Diane; children, Paul, Melissa (Omar) Flores, and Nicole; stepsons, Jon, Jason and Justin (Allison) Cooper; mother Marina, sister Sylvia Todd, and brothers, Ray (Diana) Torres and George (Birdie) Frias. Ron was a very proud combat Vietnam veteran and a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served an additional 20 years with the Air National Guard and retired from the U. S. Postal Services. In his retirement, he lived life on his terms and exited this world living that life to the fullest. He loved the outdoors and accomplished his dreams, which consisted of traveling, gardening, fishing, cooking and sky diving. He was an extraordinary husband and friend. Ron spent the last 17 years of his life with the love of his life and first love, Diane, since age 12. Following many years separated, in 1993 they reunited. Diane was his wife, soul mate, best friend, companion and partner in life. He often said that Destiny brought them together, and "a family that works together, stays together'. He will be infinitely missed. Services will be held Friday, March 19th at 1:30p.m. at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Carl T.
