BOWDEN, Robert Kent

Robert Kent Bowden was born Sept. 20, 1931 and died March 10, 2010. Bob was born in Mesa, AZ to Amy Lovera and William Francis Bowden. He was the youngest of four children. His siblings are William F. Bowden Jr. deceased, Polly Pomeroy deceased and Betty Poling who lives in Wichita, Kansas. 

He leaves behind his wife Jerri of 52 years, sons Rob, Jim (Deb), Brent (Susette) and daughter Amy Ellsworth (Cory) along with 20 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Bob was with New York Life for over 35 years, was also a member of the Sertoma Club and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, serving a mission in Mexico. 

A viewing will be held Thursday the 18th at Meldrum Mortuary 6-8 pm and the funeral will be Friday the 19th at 11:00 am at the Mesa South Stake building, 1415 E. Southern in Mesa AZ. With a viewing from 9:30 to 10:40 am. 

Burial will be at the Mesa City Cemetery.
