KUNKEL, Brandi Lin

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 02/06/2004 Brandi Lin Kunkel, 25, of Mesa, died as the result of an automobile accident in Mesa, Jan. 26, 2004. Brandi was born Aug. 6, 1978 in Springerville. She graduated from Round Valley High School and married Gary Kunkel, Jr. in Nov. 1997. Brandi was a loving wife and devoted mother to her two children. She was looking forward to the birth of her third child this summer. Brandi's survivors include husband, Gary Kunkel, Jr.; son Jarod Kunkel; daughter Kimberly Kunkel all of Mesa; mother and step-father, Charlene and Bill Becker, Springerville; brothers, Jason Jaramillo, Springerville, Steven Becker, Vernon; sisters, Santana Jaramillo, Phoenix, Angela Nabity, Phoenix, and Sheya Hamblin, Eagar; grandmother, Goldie "Igg" Palmer. She was preceded in death by her unborn son, Charles Palmer Kunkel, and preceded by her father, Orvin Hamblin and grandfather, Charles Palmer. Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 31 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Springerville Chapel. Jewkes Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
