JACKOVICH, Theodore Anthony


Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, Mar 17th, 2010 Theodore Anthony Jackovich, 82, of Roosevelt, Ariz., passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. He was born on March 20, 1927, in Flatwoods, Mo., the son of Anna (Wolchka) and John Jackovich. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 37 years; active and inactive during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Theodore married Eva (Kenberg) Lemons in 1978. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by Eva in 2004. Theodore is survived by his children, Betty Bua-Smith, Ruth Sorenson, Carol Springfield, Gene Lemons, Jr. and Kathy Flower and their families; brother, George Jackovich, of Las Cruces, N.M.; sister, Dorothy Wozniak, of Clearwater, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Memorials suggested to: St. Therese’s Chapel, Roosevelt, Ariz., C/O Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 844 W. Sullivan St., Miami, AZ 85539, 928-473-3568. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 at St. Theresa’s Chapel on Roosevelt Resort Road in Roosevelt, Ariz.
