Virginia Lee McFall, 84, of Mesa, AZ passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Valley, March 13, 2010 surrounded by her family. Virginia was born in Hoisington, KS, April 5, 1925. After the death of her father in 1942, Virginia moved to San Francisco. In 1985, she and her husband John moved to Arizona from California.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 44 years John, daughters Donna Chandler and Vivian (Dale) Larsen, grandsons Richard Perata and James (Tracy) Osborne, granddaughters Kathryn (Michael) Brass and Jennifer (Daniel) Knoblauch, great-grandsons Owen Knoblauch, Coyer Brass, and Elliot Knoblauch.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Fred and Clara Sunter, sisters Norma Ochs and Donna Johnson. Virginia enjoyed many activities in the community where she lived including golf, bingo, cards, and arranging many bus trips to the local casinos for the community.
A memorial service will be held at Sunland Village East Auditorium, March 21st at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
