Wayne Marquise Snoddy, 60, died in Holbrook Feb. 20, 2004.
He was born in Topeka, Kansas where he lived until he was 12 years old. The family worked as agriculture harvesters. Wayne lived in California most of his life. He and his family came to Arizona nine years ago. They lived in Winslow for two years and have lived in Holbrook for the past seven years.
At the time of his death he worked for Adobe Motors in Holbrook. Wayne enjoyed the outdoors, and was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to take his family on trips into the White Mountains. He was of the Pentecostal Faith Full Gospel Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lorna Mae Snoddy of Holbrook; three sons, Wayne M. Snoddy, Jr. of Davidson, Oklahoma, Devin a. (Alajuandra) Snoddy of Holbrook, Farrell R. Snoddy of Orange Grove, California, Sarah D. (Traves) Fountain of Holbrook; seven grandchildren; one brother, James Snoddy of Quapaw, Oklahoma; one sister, Helen Avery of Shelton, Washington.
Grave side services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27 at the Holbrook Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27 at Owens Mortuary in Holbrook.
