The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 12/23/2008 Richard Martin Mellor, 60, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, in Show Low. He was born Feb. 8, 1948, in Portsmith, Va., to John W. Mellor Sr. and Pauline A. Mellor. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a Vietnam veteran serving two tours of duty. He is survived by his mother Pauline A. Mellor of Murrieta, Calif., and two brothers, John W. Mellor, Jr., Alpine and Paul T. Mellor of Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Mellor Sr. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m. at the Alpine cemetery. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
