EAGAR, Grayce Lynn

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/01/2005 Grayce Lynn Paddock Eagar, 61, died Feb.18, 2005 while in Hospice Care. Grayce was born Aug. 22, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Ward and Leda Hicks Paddock. She spent the first nine years of her life in Ohio before moving with her family to New Mexico and then later California and Oregon. She was a resident of Eagar for over 18 years. She married Jackson Eagar in Dec. of 1962. There were two daughters from that union. She was a cosmetologist and very interested in nutrition. Her hobbies included music, flowers and houseplants and she loved humming birds. Grayce's survivors include her daughters Jenny (Bill) Smith and Lori (Keith) Lavender, Gilbert; mother Leda (Pete) Archuleta, Oregon; and a brother Dennis, Paddock, California, seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Her husband, Jackson Eagar and her father Ward Paddock precede her in death. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 26 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Eagar Stake Center in Eagar. Interment was at the Eagar Cemetery. Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary handled the arrangements.
