Beatrice AuBuchon, 91, of Claypool, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010. She was born on Jan. 30, 1919 in Monticello, Ark., the daughter of Velma (Rash) and Ordie Watts.
She owned and operated the Lazy H Y Bar for 30 years and was famous for her old sayings. She enjoyed watching wrestling, gardening and could do just about anything with the tomatoes she grew. She made beautiful quilts for all her grandchildren.
Beatrice loved fishing with her son and grandchildren, but her biggest pleasure in life was spending time with her family and friends.
Beatrice will be warmly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Beatrice leaves behind in loving memory her granddaughter and best friend, Dee Tucker; half-brothers, Ordie A. Watts, Jr., and Carl Watts, of Arkansas; half-sisters, Lena Callender, Betty Patten, JoAnn Davidson and Sue Rodgers, of Arkansas; niece, Jean Fangue; daughter-in-law, Carmen; grandchildren, Lloyd, Lisa, Cathy, Michael and Pam; and great-grandchildren, Phylicia, Melanie, Jonathan, Christopher, Jase, Casey, Jesse, Malorie, Melissa and Joshua.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Edmond Tucker in 1982; and her grandson, Jimmy Wayne Tucker, in 2005.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens in Miami, Ariz.
Funeral arrangements for Beatrice AuBuchon were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services, Globe.
