SIEGEL, Joan Carol

The Arizona Republic 3/23/2010 Siegel, Joan C., 77 of Scottsdale, Arizona. Joan Carol Orlowski Siegel, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother passed to our Lord on March 17, 2010 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She fought a great fight for over 19 years. Joan was born in Michigan City, IN, on July 3, 1932. After graduation from St. Mary/Marquette high school, she became a licensed cosmetologist in Indiana and Illinois. She also worked many years for Sears. Her death was preceded by her parents Adam and Mary Orlowski, brother Eugene, sisters Lolly, Lois and Dolores. Joan is survived by her husband Joe, daughter Stacy Snyder, San Jose, CA, Teresa and Randy Trunk Tophan, Santa Cruz, CA, granddaughter Brittany and Amanda Snyder, San Jose, CA ,stepdaughter Dianne and (Mike) Sebens, LaPorte, IN and Sharon Siegel, Michigan City, IN and stepson Joseph D. Siegel, Michigan City, also twin brother John Orlowski, Michigan City and Gerald Orlowski, Daytona Beach, FL. Her wish for cremation without viewing is being respected by the family as well as her wish that her ashes be scattered along the seacoast where many vacations were enjoyed. She can now be free to play with her beloved animals and soar with her feathered friends. Services entrusted to Shadow Mountain Mortuary.
