Deering, Lawrence F., 86, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on March 19, 2010. He was born in Golden, Colorado on August 4, 1923. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Elsie Deering. He served proudly in World War II. He retired from A.P.S. in 1988. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Joan. He also leaves behind two sons, Larry F. Deering of Phoenix, Arizona and Alden Bodtke of Ferndale, Washington. A visitation will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 with funeral service at 10:00 AM at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers family has requested donations to be made to Hospice of the Valley.
