Schoenhardt, Carolyn, 62 of Mesa, AZ, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2010. She was born on May 8, 1947 to Harold and Margaret (Keegan) Kling in Rockford, IL, and raised as an Irish Catholic and graduated from Bishop Muldoon High School. She graduated from St. Anthony's School of Nursing. She married Frank Schoenhardt on May 24, 1973 and raised 8 children. She cherished family, church, being involved with her children's school activities, and being a neonatal nurse. Her strong love of children led her to become a foster parent in 1996 for AASK AZ. She fostered dozens of children and taught new parents. She will be remembered most for her kindness, radiant smile, and boundless energy. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was greeted in heaven by her parents and her daughter, Lizbeth Leticia (Betsy). Survived by: her husband, Frank; daughter, Teresa (Daniel) Bengtson; son, Daniel (Sarah), grandsons, Tony and Tommy; son, Brett (Patricia), grandsons, Noah and Preston, granddaughter, Mckenzie; son, David (Michelle), granddaughter, Jordyn, grandson, Dylan; daughters, Rebecca (JoJo) and Anna; son, Michael; brother, John (Michele) Kling; sister, Kathie (Robert) Stacionis; numerous sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am, Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1551 E. Dana Avenue, Mesa AZ. A Visitation will take place Monday evening, March 22 from 5 to 8 pm at Queen of Heaven Mortuary, 1562 E. Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ., with a rosary to start at 7pm. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Reception at Christ the King Catholic Church Presentation Hall following burial. Arrangements entrusted to Queen of Heaven Mortuary
