WYCLIFFE, Hope Faith


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/05/2004 Hope Faith Wycliffe, 15, died Feb. 26, 2004 in Whiteriver. Hope was born June 25, 1988. At the time of her death she was a sophomore at Alchesay High School. She participated in many school functions, from games to dances and proms. Hope loved horses, especially the one her father bought for her. She was "Daddy's Girl" going to many ranches with him. Hope loved her daddy very much. Her pride and joy was her niece Angel. Hope loved to laugh and dance. She was a very friendly person, affectionate, and always handing out hugs to old and new friends. Hope was a faithful member of the Whiteriver Assembly of God Church, volunteering at the church and the Hope Center, "dubbing" it her center. She will be missed by many; her smile that never faded and her bright wide eyes that saw many in need. Hope is survived by her father, Tony A. Wycliffe; mother, Esther Ethelbah Wycliffe; four brothers, Linton (Charlotte) Ethelbah, Sr., Tom James Wycliffe, Billy Joe Wycliffe, Brian Anthony Wycliffe; five sisters, Lois Ann (Timothy) Smith, April D. BullCalf, R. June Crocker (Kenneth) Patten, Toni Esther (Fernando) Burnette, Jennifer Mae Wycliffe; grandma, Nellie Gass; her nieces including her youngest niece Angel Burnette, nephews, uncles and aunts. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6 at the Whiteriver Assembly of God Church, with a two-day wake beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 4. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
