Elizabeth L. DuBois, 79, of Pinetop quietly passed away March 1, 2004 following a brief illness. 
      
Affectionately known as "Betty" she was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.
      
Betty was born in Rochester, New York and relocated to Phoenix in 1959. Betty and husband Harvey discovered beautiful Pinetop in the early 70s and permanently moved to the White Mountains in 1991. Her gentle soul and caring, loving compassionate nature will be missed by all she left behind.
      
Betty is survived by her husband of almost 61 years, Harvey; son Kenneth (Carol) DuBois of Phoenix; daughter Carolyn (Douglas) Latham of Glendale; sister Doris O'Neill of Phoenix; brother Thomas (Mary Ellen) Adlam of Winterhaven, Florida; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
      
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 6 in Phoenix at Hansen's Mortuary.
