The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/05/2004 Damacio G. Ballejos, 53, St. Johns, died Feb. 27, 2004 at the White Mountain Regional Medical Center in Springerville. Damacio was born Dec. 2, 1950 in Winslow. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. His survivors include his wife, Maria Ballejos; and son Domenic Ballejos-Sanchez; brothers Blas Ballejos, Jr. and Paul Amarijlio, Richard Amrijlio; and sister Antinia Flores. Also five grandchildren and his father-and mother-in-law Timmie and Mary Ann Sanchez. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 5 at St. Helena's Catholic Church, on Hwy. 180 in Alpine. Jewkes Mortuary, St. Johns, is in charge of arrangements.
