Dorothy D. Almich was ushered into rest by her Savior Friday, Feb. 27, 2004 in Tucson. 
      
Dorothy lived in Tucson but enjoyed Lakeside as a summer resident.
      
She is survived by her beloved husband and friend of 47 years Walter Almich; six children, Scott (Kathy) Knight, Donna (Doug) Wilson, Jack (Jacque) Knight, Betty (Kent) Wood, Pat (Jim) Watson and Bill Almich; along with 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
      
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 2 in Tucson with Pastor Carroll Franklin of New Testament Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed at East Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Valley Funeral Home.
