The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/09/2004 Constance Decker Pratt, 73, died peacefully Feb. 29, 2004 in Tacoma, Washington. She was born May 25, 1930 in Snowflake to Silas Smith Decker and Catherine Eva Owens. She was a lovely, serene daughter of God who loved her family, and they loved her. She was a lifelong active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served four missions with her husband and was a temple worker. She loved music, flowers, quilting, sewing, knitting and reading. She is survived by her husband Harold W. Pratt, Jr.; sister, Francine Decker (Howard) Holt; children, Keith (Annette), Ronald (Pam), Mark (Melanie), Catherine, Gary (Deborah), Dale (Stephanie), and Jared (Barbara); 20 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. "Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her." Funeral services were held Saturday, March 6 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tacoma, Washington. A memorial service will also be held Wednesday, March 10 at 11 a.m. at the Main Street Chapel in Snowflake with interment in the Snowflake Cemetery.
