The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/16/2004 Richard R. Johnson,70, died March 12, 2004. He was a resident of Pinetop for eight years, and retired from Illinois Bell Telephone after 36 years of service, three years with the United States Forest Service. He was a Bartlett Rotary Club member from 1979-1996. He served in the Army from May 18, 1953 to July 5, 1955. He is survived by Joann his wife of forty years; children Linda Laura Christopher, Lisa, Mark, Louise Rubin, Lizabeth, Leslie and 13 grandchildren. He was proceed in death by two of his children Curt, and Craig. Services will be held at Counrtryside Funeral Home in Streamwood, Illinois.
