Virginia A. Weaver, age 81, of Troy, Ohio, formerly resided in Prescott, Ariz. for 17 years, died at 3:45 a.m. on March 21, 2010 at Spring Meade, Tipp City, Ohio. She was born on Dec. 8, 1928 in Troy to the late Luther and Bertha (Davis) Seigle. Her husband, Earl R. Weaver, preceded her in death in 2006.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Clayton R. and Brenda Weaver of Troy; three grandchildren, Melinda Weaver of Troy, Valarie Weaver of Covington, Ohio and Chet Weaver of Troy; and four great-grandchildren, Tyler Hile, Mackenzi Hile, Ethan Hale and Reese Weaver.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
She was a 1946 graduate of Staunton High School. Mrs. Weaver was a member and church pianist at the First Baptist Church in Prescott, Ariz. She worked at Wal-Mart for 15 years and she loved selling Avon.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with private family services immediately following. Interment will be at Prescott National Cemetery, Prescott, Ariz.
