Eileen Millicent (Baldwin) Hansen
On Wednesday, March 10, 2010, Eileen Millicent Hansen went home to be with the Lord.
She was born in Ashford, New South Wales, Australia on Feb. 14, 1918 to Count of Flanders William Fredrick and Maude Ada Baldwin.
During World War II, she met and married Orville Hansen, and after the war she went to his home town of Green Bay, Wisc.
Orville and Eileen had three children -- Sandee, Kenneth, and Wendy.
In 1958, the family moved to Arizona and took up residence in Wickenburg.
Eileen went to nursing school in Phoenix and became an LPN, and worked for many years at the Wickenburg Hospital before retiring in 1974. After leaving the hospital, she worked as a private nurse for long time Wickenburg resident and business man Sky Thurber, until his death in 1982.
In 1988, she moved to Glendale, where she remained until her death.
She was a loving and giving mother and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband Orville in December 1977 and daughter Sandee in April of 2008.
She is survived by her son Kenneth and his wife Caroline; her daughter Wendy and her husband Jim and grandson Kenneth; and by her granddaughter Wendy Ann, her husband Lonnie and Eileen’s two great-grandsons Daniel and Aaron.
