Fritz A. Lussier, 94, formerly of Tucson died March 21, 2010, in St. Johns. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, July 15, 1915.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in two branches of the military during the war in the Air Force and Army. In 1946, he married Germaine Blahnik. Fritz liked sports, especially football and hockey, and he enjoyed fishing the lakes in southern Arizona. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by sons Rick (Carol) Lussier, Scottsdale and Randy (Polly) Lussier of St. Johns; daughter Renee (Richard) Whitington of Kearny; sister Lucille Perras of Vermont; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Eddie) Dowdell, Lauren Lussier and Aubrie Lussier and great-grandchild Kyle Pittman.
Fritz was preceded in death by his wife Germaine in March 1986 and 10 brothers and sisters.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 26, in Tucson at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Road. Flowers can be sent to the cemetery or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Solterra at White Mountains, 5408 AZ Hwy. 260, Lakeside, AZ 85929 or Hinckson Memorial Assisted Living Corporation, P.O.
