The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/26/2010 Vincent Bourke Jr. of Whiteriver went into eternal rest March 18, 2010, in Gilbert. He was born April 19, 1947, in Whiteriver. He is survived by his son Farrison Bourke; daughters Carol Brown, Alva Goclanney; mother Edith Bourke; sisters Zorina Skidmore, Nora Sheoships, Shirley Dickens, Karen Lee; godson Carly Joe Edwards; aunt Emma June Truax; uncle Rafael Zahgotah and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Vincent Bourke Sr.; brother Terry Bourke and sister Virginia Loas. A two night wake started at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 25, at his residence (1910 N. River Road) in Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at the White Mountain Apache Baptist Church in Whiteriver. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
