Black's Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Bernice Marguerita Jones (November 16, 1924 - March 18, 2010) Bernice M. Jones, 85, of Show Low, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010. She was born November 16, 1924, in Fresno, CA, the daughter of Jacob and Marguerita (Randrup) Steinhauer. She was raised in Nebraska and Fresno. She spent most of her adult life in the Los Angeles area. She worked in several capacities in various industries. She moved to Phoenix in 1981 and came to Show Low in 1983. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and bingo. She was a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9907. She loved her cat, Timber. Survivors include a daughter, Charlene Kozakiewicz and husband Greg of Show Low; a son, Robert Kizziar and wife Jenny of Lemoore, CA; 7 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Gloria and a grandson, Robert. Private family interment will be at Show Low Cemetery. A public memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 2, at the VFW Post 9907 in Show Low.
