Donald Robert Brewer, 73, died March 13, 2004 at Bannon Springs Ranch. 

Donald was born in Yale, Oklahoma, and was raised in Holyroad, Kansas. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was owner/operator of Midway Barber and Beauty Salon in Oceanside, California for 33 years, moving to Taylor in 1998. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and was an avid sports fan, loved his family very much, and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
      
He is survived by Marilyn Brewer, and two daughters, Mechell (Reed) Egge, and Tracy (Kent) Schey both of Lakeside; one son, Donald Brewer, Jr. (Becky) of Lafayette, Colorado; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
