RORK, Lois Jean


Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, Mar 24th, 2010 Lois Jean Rork, 75, of Central Heights, Ariz., passed away on March 17, 2010 at a residence. She was born in State College, Penn., and lived in Arizona for 43 years. She was a stockperson/clerk for Merle’s Auto Parts in Globe. She was a past member of the N.R.A. She is survived by her sons, Brian Rork (Karen), of Globe, Ariz., Dennis Orndorf (Jacque), of Florence, Ariz., and Gary Orndorf (Annette), of Globe, Ariz.; her brother, Richard “Rick” Albright (Pat), of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She loved to fish and also enjoyed camping and riding four-wheelers. She grew up and graduated from high school in Pennsylvania. She first lived in Prescott, then moved to Flagstaff, where she worked for W.L. Fore and Associates for 20-plus years as a wire splitter. Then, in 1990, she moved to Globe. She owned and operated One Stop Bike and Trophy Shop in Globe and had also worked at UMC Medical Center in Tucson, located at 3838 N. Campbell, Tucson, AZ 85719. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe. Interment was private. Lamont Mortuary of Globe assisted the family.
