RYAN, Helen

Helen Ryan passed away on November 28, 2002. She was born March 16, 1906 and lived a full eventful life. She graduated from Ohio State University in 1928. With her aunt decided to take a trip to see the country. They arrived in Arizona in the fall and this is where she decided to live. It was too late to get a job teaching school that year so she worked at Goldwaters until the next fall. She taught in the Wilson School District for 27 years. She was Past President of the Jaycee Dudettes. She was a founding member of the Los Olivos Senior Center and worked there in many capacities until her death. She was the head librarian, an officer the AARP chapter #2207, active in Reminisce & Silver Threads. Helen will be sorely missed by her many loyal friends. A memorial will be held at 12 Noon Mon.
