GIFFORD, Dorothy V.

Dorothy V. Gifford died on December 1, 2002. She was born May 7, 1910 in Brooklyn, NY. Before retiring with her husband, Emerson, to Sun City in 1971, she was a secretary in a New York City law firm for over thirty years. At the Boswell Hospital, Dorothy was a member of the Auxiliary from 1971 to 1999 where she was a volunteer and day chairman for several years on a nursing unit volunteering 7500 hours. She was also a member of the Silver Circle of Sun Health Foundation. Dorothy was a member of Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church of Sun City where she sang in the choir and was music librarian for many years. A memorial service was held at Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church of Sun City, 11025 111th Ave. Sun City December 10, 2002.
