WINDELL, Wendell (Windy)

The Arizona Republic 3/28/2010 Wendell "Windy" Windell Windy passed away December 12, 2009 with his loving family at his side. Windy was born in La-Tremblay-sur-Mauldre, France. In 1956 his family moved to San Martin, California where he grew up and acquired many friends and loved ones. He began his career in the semiconductor industry in the heart of Silicon Valley. His career spanned 36 years in executive management with companies SVG, Novellus, FEI and ASM. His employment took him to Boston, Allentown,and Portland, with assignments as far as Europe and Asia. His associates recognized him as a visionary leader with an endearing personality and the ability to motivate others. From the friendships of his small town beginnings to his worldwide network of friends and associates, Windy found his way into the hearts of everyone he met and will be missed by the many lives he touched. Windy is survived by his Wife of 26 years, Bobbi; Children, Chris and Alyssa; Mother, Janine Stuefloten; Brothers, Claude, Gary, and Terry; and Sister, Carole. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 3:00pm in Livermore, California.
