WALKER, Phillip Dean

The Arizona Republic 3/28/2010 Walker, Phillip Dean, age 52, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, March 21, 2010 at his home in North Phoenix. He was born April 23, 1957 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Cecil and Rebecca (Romero) Walker. Phillip attended Cartwright and Peoria Elementary Schools and Moon Valley High School in Glendale, AZ. He played trumpet in the Peoria School Band and was on the Moon Valley HS football team. He graduated from Trevor G. Browne High School in Phoenix, AZ. Phillip liked the outdoors and in his earlier years enjoyed hiking, camping and off-road motorcycling. He loved classic rock bands and playing the electric guitar. More recently, he enjoyed weekly visits with his family. Phillip is survived by both parents Cecil and Becky, and by his brothers and sisters-in-law Ken and Brenda Walker, Allan and Jill Walker, and Richard Walker and by four nieces and two nephews, all of Phoenix, AZ. Memorial services will be 4:00 PM, Monday, April 5 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 4802 N 59th Ave., Phoenix. The Walker family has entrusted their loved one to Green Acres Funeral Home in Glendale, AZ. Blessed be his memory.
