Lois Marie Lawson, of Paradise Valley, AZ passed away on Nov. 30, 2002. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She moved to Arizona in 1953 from Olton, TX and was a secretary for a securities broker. Lois had an infectious zest for living. She lived an ordinary life with graceful elegance and extraordinary qualities. Her unique honesty and humor touched us all. We reflect on the many gifts she gave to us including love, acceptance, faith, hope, encouragement, honesty, friendship, laughter and strength. Lois's strength was based on love not force. She had the strength to live each day and to look for the "silver lining". She had the strength to die when it was time to taker her place in eternity. Her surviving family includes her four children, Jim Kimbell, Mary Kincaid, Lorie Kump and Jamie Lawson. She was also grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 3. Her brothers, Jack Blackwell, Bill Blackwell and Danny Britton, and her sisters, Sue Abernathy and Sandy Britton-Suggs, all reside in Texas where Lois was born.
