JoAnn Elizabeth Preston, age 68, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on December 3, 2002. JoAnn was born in Phoenix on August 27, 1934. 

She retired from Maricopa County Superior Court in 1996 and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by: daughters, Kathlean Lucas (Vincent) and Debra Howard (Tim) sisters, Eileen Anderson, Patricia Graham and Mary Louise Hubbs brothers, Donald and Richard Hubbs and grandchildren, Jacob and Matthew Lucas and Ethan Howard. 

Visitation and Rosary was Friday, December 6, 2002 at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Mass was offered Saturday, December 7, 2002 at Brophy Preparatory Chapel, 4701 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, Az. Interment at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, AZ. The family wishes contributions to be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
