Thornton, Irene, born in Sparta, Illinois. 92 years old of Phoenix, AZ, died on March 19, 2010. Survivors include 3 sons-David, Roger, Rick, 2 daughters- Sandy, Sharon, 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Ed. Irene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Celebration of her life will be held at the Sterling House, 2800 W. Ray Rd, Chandler, AZ on April 17, 2010 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Valley.
