Moran, Conrad James, 79, passed away March 21, 2010 while at the Sonoran Adult Care Home, Chandler, Arizona and under the care of Odyssey Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolee. Conrad was born in DeLisle, Mississippi, February 21, 1931, lived in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a graduate of Louisiana State University in mechanical engineering and received his Master's Degree from Seattle University. When he retired after 40 years with the Boeing Company, Seattle he and his wife moved on board their sailing vessel Island Wind and spent 7 years sailing around the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence Peranich Moran and Elmer James Moran of New Orleans. He is also survived by his extended families on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, in Arizona, Michigan, Indiana and Missouri. A celebration of his life will be held April 13, 2010 from 2pm to 4pm in the Garden Room of the Renaissance Apartments, 9508 E Riggs Rd, Sun Lakes, Az.
